Daniel Paul Dare, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon, has joined the active medical staff at Central Mississippi Medical Center. His new office is in the Medical Associates of Vicksburg complex at 2080 S. Frontage Road in Vicksburg. Dr. Dare obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He completed a Rotating Orthopaedic internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. In 1979, he completed an Orthopaedic residency at Tulane Medical Center and Associated Hospitals in New Orleans. 

He is a member of the American Medical Association, Mississippi State Medical Association, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The West Mississippi Medical Society and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Southern Orthopaedic Association and the Arthroscopic Association of North America. He is a diplomat of the Mississippi Orthopaedic Society. 

In the Vicksburg community, Dr. Dare is active at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Vicksburg Arts Council, Vicksburg Community Concert Association and Ducks Unlimited. He is listed in the Marquis Who’s Who and the Who’s Who in Mississippi. Dr. Dare has acquired over 30 years of experience as a Board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in Arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow and wrist as well as total joint replacements.
